AZ Defenders Program

Who we are

The AZ Defenders is a grass roots manpower movement established from every motorcyclist from all walks of life. Composed of State by State confederation of Clubs, the Coalition of Independent Riders (CHOIR) and other representatives, the US Defenders work in solidarity for the common good of our communities and to defend the Constitution of these United States of America.

Mission

The AZ Defenders Program is a grass roots movement of manpower, citizen “Bikers” manpower that is designed to provide as efficient wat to organize and rally a rapid response when needed on legislative issues that are of concern to all motorcyclist.

The AZ Defenders provide the manpower behind legislative “Call-to-Action” campaigns from recognized state and national motorcycle rights organizations.

In a nutshell, the AZDefenders are dedicated to preserving the US Constitution and applying their collective manpower where it can best serve the riding public and local communities.

Overview

A system of representatives from the memberships of traditional motorcycle clubs and riding associations was created. Two (2) members from each organization, a primary and an alternate are chosen to act as the liaison between their perspective clubs and the US Defender program. These representatives became known as US Defenders.

When a Call-to-Action (CTA) is brought forth by a motorcycle rights organization (MRO) such as ABATE, MRF, Registered Motorcycle Lobbyist or any other motorcycle rights organization, and is recognized as falling with in the criteria (Motorcycle specific, either legislative or judicial)  of the COC or NCOM, the US Defenders are activated. The Defenders units are called in and briefed on the call to action and trained on the nature of the action such as letter writing, e-mailing, phone calling etc. The AZDefenders will provide logistical support and then return to their perspective clubs and association, share the training and Call-to-Action with their memberships and implement action.

Things to know

  1. All club members need to know how to get ahold of their 1 State Senator and 2 Legislators.

To access link to locate your district to find your representatives go towww.azleg.gov/findmylegislator/ to find legislation mapping and district locator. We will gladly assist each club in locating each one of their Representatives.

  1. It is our desire to have 1 defender representative and 1 Alternate or two (2) designated defender contacts from each club.
  2. Ready to activate at any time when called upon. We will assist in letter format and wording at clubs request.

 

In Closing

We need all club support at this critical time. The window of our survival is closing and our rights as free people under the Constitution of the United States is and has been threatened. Now is the time to make a stand for our rights. It starts by communicating to all clubs and do our best to be heard and make that stand before it is too late. We are asking all clubs to make a stand right now. We need to communicate clearly to each other and to our legislators we expect to be treated like citizens and we the respect we deserve. We will need all of your support to pass the anti-profiling bill when the time arrives.

Remember

The First Amendmentguarantees freedoms concerning religion, expression, assembly, and the right to petition.  It forbids Congress from bothpromoting one religion over others and also restricting an individual’s religious practices.  It guarantees freedom of expression by prohibiting Congress from restricting the press or the rights of individuals to speak freely.  It also guarantees the right of citizens to assemble peaceably and to petition their government.

The Fourteenth Amendment guarantees all persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the state wherein they reside. No state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any state deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

The State Senate and Legislation Representatives work for us and do answer to their constituents.
